Harvey Spencer Lewis

Harvey Spencer Lewis, born on November twenty-fifth, eighteen eighty-three, was a prominent American journalist, writer, and mystic. He is best known for his role as the founder of the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis (AMORC), an organization dedicated to the study and practice of Rosicrucian teachings.

In nineteen fifteen, Lewis established AMORC and took on the mantle of its first leader, known as the imperator. His leadership spanned several decades, during which he significantly influenced the spread of Rosicrucian philosophy and mysticism across the United States and beyond.
