Abū Muḥammad al-Ḥasan ibn Zayd ibn Muḥammad ibn Ismaʿīl ibn al-Ḥasan ibn Zayd, known as al-Dāʿī al-Kabīr, was a prominent theologian and the founder of the Zaydid dynasty of Tabaristan. Born in the year seven hundred fifty, he emerged as a significant figure in Islamic history, particularly among the Alid lineage.
