Hassan Yazdani

Hassan Yazdani, born on December twenty-sixth, nineteen ninety-four, is a distinguished Iranian freestyle wrestler who has made a significant mark in the world of sports. His journey in wrestling is highlighted by his remarkable achievements, including being an Olympic and World Champion across two weight categories.

Yazdani's ascent to fame began at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where he clinched the gold medal in the seventy-four kilogram category. In a thrilling final, he triumphed over Russian wrestler Aniuar Geduev, solidifying his status as one of the elite athletes in freestyle wrestling.

Following his Olympic success, Yazdani continued to dominate the wrestling scene. He became the World Champion at the 2017 World Wrestling Championships in the men's freestyle eighty-six kilogram category.
