Hayao Miyazaki, born on January fifth, nineteen forty-one, in Tokyo City, is a renowned Japanese animator, filmmaker, and manga artist. He co-founded the illustrious Studio Ghibli, where he serves as its honorary chairman. Throughout his illustrious career, Miyazaki has garnered international acclaim as a master storyteller and is celebrated as one of the most influential filmmakers in the history of animation.

From a young age, Miyazaki exhibited a passion for manga and animation. He began his professional journey in nineteen sixty-three at Toei Animation, where he honed his skills as an inbetween artist and key animator on notable films such as Gulliver's Travels Beyond the Moon, Puss in Boots, and Animal Treasure Island. His career progressed as he co-directed Lupin the Third Part I and later worked on the television series Future Boy Conan, showcasing his growing talent.

In nineteen eighty-five, Miyazaki co-founded Studio Ghibli, where he wrote and directed iconic films including Laputa: Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Porco Rosso.
