Heather Mills

Heather Mills, born on January 12, 1968, is an English former model, businesswoman, and passionate animal rights activist. She first gained public attention in 1993 when a tragic accident involving a police motorcycle in London led to the amputation of her left leg below the knee. Undeterred, Mills continued her modeling career, utilizing a prosthetic limb, and later shared her story with the tabloid News of the World.

In 2000, Mills entered a high-profile relationship with music legend Paul McCartney. The couple married in June 2002, and their daughter, Beatrice Milly McCartney, was born on October 28, 2003. However, their marriage faced challenges, leading to their separation in 2006 and the finalization of their divorce in 2008.

Following her marriage to McCartney, Mills dedicated herself to animal rights advocacy. As of 2024, she serves as a patron of Viva! and Viva! Health, organizations committed to promoting animal welfare. Additionally, she holds the position of vice-president of the Limbless Association, further demonstrating her commitment to supporting those with disabilities.
