Heather Steacy

Heather Steacy, born on April 14, 1988, is a distinguished Canadian track and field athlete renowned for her prowess in the hammer throw. She made her Olympic debut at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where she showcased her talent by competing in the hammer throw event, ultimately finishing in thirty-fourth place.

In July 2016, Steacy earned her place on Canada's Olympic team once again, this time finishing in twenty-third place. Her journey in athletics is not just marked by her Olympic appearances but also by her significant contributions to her university's legacy.

During the University of Lethbridge's fiftieth anniversary celebrations, Heather was honored as the seventh Pronghorn of all time.
