Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Héctor Scarone

Héctor Scarone, born on November twenty-sixth, nineteen ninety-eight, was a celebrated Uruguayan footballer renowned for his exceptional skills as an inside forward. His extraordinary talent on the field earned him the affectionate nicknames 'the Gardel of Football' and 'El Mago,' or 'the Magician.' Scarone's prowess made him one of the most esteemed players of his era, culminating in three world championship titles, including victories at the Olympic football tournaments in nineteen twenty-four and nineteen twenty-eight, as well as the inaugural World Cup in nineteen thirty.

Scarone's club career was predominantly spent with Club Nacional de Football, where he achieved remarkable success, securing twenty-one official titles. Over the course of his career, he netted a staggering three hundred and one goals in three hundred sixty-nine appearances, making him the second all-time top scorer for Nacional, trailing only Atilio García. His record of twenty years with the club remains unmatched, and he ranks third in the all-time Uruguayan Primera División with one hundred sixty-three goals.

Despite facing early rejection from Nacional at the tender age of fifteen due to his height of one hundred seventy centimeters and slender build, Scarone's determination led him back to the club a year later. Initially placed in the reserve team, he quickly showcased his talent, earning a promotion to the senior squad after just five matches.

In addition to his illustrious tenure at Nacional, Scarone also had stints with prominent clubs in Europe, including Barcelona in Spain and Inter Milan and Palermo in Italy. He was the younger brother of another Nacional legend, Carlos Scarone, further solidifying the family's legacy in Uruguayan football.
