Hedvig Lindahl

Hedvig Lindahl, born on April twenty-ninth, nineteen eighty-three, is a retired Swedish professional footballer renowned for her exceptional skills as a goalkeeper. Throughout her illustrious career, she showcased her talent in various clubs across Sweden, including prominent teams in the Damallsvenskan such as Malmö FF, Linköpings FC, Kristianstads DFF, Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC, Djurgården, and Eskilstuna United. Additionally, she made her mark in the English FA Women's Super League while playing for Chelsea.

On the international stage, Lindahl has earned an impressive one hundred eighty-nine caps for the Swedish national team. A significant milestone in her career came on August third, two thousand fourteen, when she celebrated her one hundredth cap against England. Her remarkable journey continued as she broke Elisabeth Leidinge's record on September seventeenth, two thousand fifteen, becoming the most capped female goalkeeper in Sweden's history.
