Helalia Johannes

Helalia Lukeiko Johannes, born on August 13, 1980, is a distinguished Namibian long-distance runner renowned for her exceptional prowess in marathon events. With a remarkable career spanning over a decade, she has set national records in the 10 km, 20 km, half marathon, and marathon, showcasing her versatility and endurance.

At the age of thirty-nine, Johannes achieved a significant milestone by securing a bronze medal at the World Championships in the marathon, further solidifying her status as one of Namibia's premier athletes.
