Henning Berg

Henning Berg, born on September first, nineteen sixty-nine, is a distinguished Norwegian football manager and former player. His illustrious playing career spanned from nineteen eighty-eight to two thousand four, during which he made a significant impact in the Premier League. Notably, he achieved the remarkable feat of winning titles with both Blackburn Rovers and Manchester United, becoming the first player to secure the Premier League trophy with two different clubs.

Before his success in England, Berg showcased his talents in his home country, playing for Vålerenga and Lillestrøm. He concluded his playing days in the Scottish Premier League with Rangers, where he further solidified his reputation as a skilled defender. Over the course of his international career, he earned one hundred caps for Norway, contributing nine goals to his national team.

Transitioning into management in two thousand five, Berg began his coaching journey with Lyn and later took the helm at Lillestrøm. His managerial career saw him return to Blackburn in two thousand twelve, although his tenure was short-lived, lasting just fifty-seven days. In January two thousand fourteen, he took charge of Legia Warsaw, where he celebrated success by winning the Ekstraklasa and the Polish Cup.

Following his time in Poland, Berg managed Videoton and Stabæk before moving to Cyprus. Currently, he is at the helm of Omonia, where he has led the team to their first championship in over a decade, marking a significant achievement in his coaching career.
