Henri Konan Bédié

Henri Konan Bédié, born on May fifth, nineteen thirty-four, is a prominent Ivorian politician and diplomat. He served as the President of Côte d'Ivoire from nineteen ninety-three until nineteen ninety-nine, a period marked by significant political developments in the country. Bédié was also the leader of the Democratic Party of Ivory Coast – African Democratic Rally (PDCI–RDA), a key political party in the nation.

Before ascending to the presidency, Bédié held the influential position of president of the National Assembly of Ivory Coast. His political career has been characterized by a commitment to governance and diplomacy, shaping the political landscape of Côte d'Ivoire during his tenure.
