Henri Saivet

Henri Saivet, born on October 26, 1990, is a talented Senegalese professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Ligue 2 club Clermont. His journey in football began at a young age, making his debut for Bordeaux at just seventeen years old. Over the course of nine years, he developed his skills and made a significant impact at the club.

In pursuit of new challenges, Saivet signed with English club Newcastle United. However, his time there was marked by limited appearances, leading to loan spells at various clubs including Saint-Étienne in France and Turkish teams Sivasspor and Bursaspor. These experiences allowed him to gain valuable playing time and further hone his craft.

After leaving Newcastle in 2021, Saivet faced a year without a club before signing with Pau, where he continued to showcase his abilities. In 2024, after two successful seasons with Pau, he made the move to Clermont, eager to contribute to his new team.

Internationally, Saivet initially represented France at the youth level but later chose to play for the Senegal national team from 2013 to 2019, adding an international dimension to his career.
