Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Hermann Ehrhardt

Hermann Ehrhardt, born on November twenty-ninth, eighteen eighty-one, was a prominent German naval officer during World War I. His military career took a significant turn as he became a leading figure in the Freikorps movement, known for his staunch anti-republican and anti-Semitic views during the tumultuous Weimar Republic.

As the head of the Marine Brigade Ehrhardt, he emerged as one of the most recognized Freikorps leaders in the immediate aftermath of the war. His brigade played a crucial role in combating the local soviet republics that emerged during the German Revolution of nineteen eighteen to nineteen nineteen, and they were instrumental in the anti-republican Kapp Putsch of March nineteen twenty.

Following the disbanding of his brigade, Ehrhardt leveraged the remnants of his unit to establish the Organisation Consul, a clandestine group responsible for numerous politically motivated assassinations. Despite the group's ban in nineteen twenty-two, he continued to form other less successful organizations, including the Viking League.

In a dramatic turn of events, Ehrhardt's opposition to Adolf Hitler forced him to flee Germany in nineteen thirty-four. He subsequently lived a largely apolitical life in Austria until his passing in nineteen seventy-one.
