Anderson Hernanes de Carvalho Viana Lima, widely known as Hernanes, was born on May 29, 1985, in Brazil. He is a former professional footballer who made his mark primarily as a central or attacking midfielder. Hernanes began his illustrious career at São Paulo, where he achieved significant success, winning the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A in both 2007 and 2008.
