Himiko

Himiko, a prominent monarch and shaman, emerged as a pivotal figure in ancient Japan during the Yayoi period. Following years of conflict among the kings of Wa, she was chosen as ruler at the young age of twenty in the year one hundred ninety. Her reign marked a significant turning point in the region's history, although early Japanese records do not explicitly mention her.
