Hiroshi Aoyama

Hiroshi Aoyama, born on October twenty-fifth, nineteen eighty-one, is a distinguished figure in the world of motorcycle racing. A retired Grand Prix motorcycle road racer, he has transitioned into a pivotal role as the team principal of Honda Team Asia. Aoyama's legacy is most prominently marked by his triumph in the two thousand nine 250cc World Championship, where he emerged as the last champion of this class before its evolution into the Moto2 category.

Throughout his six seasons in the fiercely competitive 250cc World Championship, Aoyama showcased his skills on both Honda and KTM machinery, consistently battling against the dominance of Aprilia. His remarkable career in this class is highlighted by nine victories, and he never finished lower than seventh overall, a testament to his talent and determination.

In two thousand ten, Aoyama made the leap to the premier class, joining Interwetten Racing. His journey in MotoGP continued until the conclusion of the two thousand fourteen season, after which he took on the role of HRC test rider. In addition to this, he has been an advisor to riders in the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup, contributing to the development of future racing talents.
