Hoàng Xuân Vinh, born on October sixth, nineteen seventy-four, is a distinguished Vietnamese sport shooter known for his remarkable achievements in the world of competitive shooting.
His Olympic journey began with participation in the Summer Games of two thousand twelve, followed by two thousand sixteen and two thousand twenty. Xuân Vinh's most notable accomplishment came during the two thousand sixteen Olympics, where he made history by winning a gold medal in the ten meter air pistol event.
In addition to his gold medal, he also secured a silver medal in the fifty meter pistol competition, solidifying his status as a trailblazer in Vietnamese sports. To this day, he remains the first and only athlete from Vietnam to achieve the honor of an Olympic gold medal.
