Hōjō Ujimasa

Hōjō Ujimasa, born in the year fifteen thirty-eight, was a prominent samurai and the fourth head of the later Hōjō clan. He rose to prominence as the daimyō of Odawara, a position that placed him at the helm of one of the most influential clans in Japan during the Sengoku period.

Following in the footsteps of his father, Hōjō Ujiyasu, Ujimasa continued the ambitious territory expansion policy that had characterized his father's reign. His leadership marked a significant era for the Hōjō clan, as he successfully achieved the largest territorial extent in the clan's history, solidifying their power and influence in the region.
