Hu Shuli

Hu Shuli, born in nineteen fifty-three, is a prominent journalist and magazine editor known for her influential role in the media landscape of China. As the founder and publisher of Caixin Media, she has significantly shaped the way financial and economic news is reported in the country.

In addition to her work at Caixin Media, Hu serves as a professor at the School of Journalism and Communication at Sun Yat-sen University. She also holds the position of adjunct professor at the School of Journalism and Communication at Renmin University of China, where she imparts her extensive knowledge and experience to the next generation of journalists.

Under her leadership, the first issue of Century Weekly was published on January fourth, two thousand ten, marking a new chapter in Chinese journalism. Hu's commitment to high-quality reporting has earned her recognition and respect both domestically and internationally.
