Hubert Hurkacz

Hubert Hurkacz, born on February 11, 1997, is a distinguished Polish professional tennis player who has made significant strides in the sport. As of August 2024, he achieved a remarkable ranking of world No. 6 in singles, marking him as the highest-ranked Polish man in the Open Era. His prowess on the court is further highlighted by his best doubles ranking of No. 30, attained in June 2022, and his current status as the No. 2 Polish player in men's singles.

Throughout his career, Hurkacz has claimed eight ATP Tour singles titles, including two prestigious Masters 1000 titles at the 2021 Miami Open and the 2023 Shanghai Masters. This accomplishment made him the first Polish player to win an ATP Masters 1000 title, solidifying his place in tennis history. His journey began in the junior circuit, where he reached a ranking of No. 29 and was a runner-up in the boys' doubles final at the 2015 Australian Open.

Hurkacz's professional ascent began in earnest in 2018 when he broke into the top 100 after impressive performances at the French Open and US Open.
