Hubert Ingraham

Hubert Ingraham, born on August fourth, nineteen forty-seven, is a prominent Bahamian politician and judge, renowned for his significant contributions to the political landscape of The Bahamas. He served as Prime Minister from August nineteen ninety-two to May two thousand two, and again from May two thousand seven to May two thousand twelve, marking a pivotal era in the nation's governance.

A member of the Free National Movement Party (FNM), Ingraham played a crucial role in the historic election of August nineteen ninety-two, where his party unseated the Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) after a quarter-century of leadership by Prime Minister Lynden Pindling. This victory not only reshaped the political dynamics of the country but also established Ingraham as a key figure in Bahamian politics.

Before the two thousand twelve elections, he held the position of FNM's Party Leader and represented the North Abaco constituency in Parliament.
