Hugo Rodallega, born on July 25, 1985, is a talented Colombian professional footballer who currently plays as a forward for Categoría Primera A club Santa Fe. His journey in professional football began in 2004 with Deportes Quindío, where he quickly made a name for himself.
In 2005, Rodallega showcased his exceptional skills at the U-20 South American Championship, where he set a remarkable record for the most goals scored in the tournament. This achievement paved the way for his move to Deportivo Cali later that year, followed by his senior international debut.
Rodallega's career took him to Mexico, where he signed with Monterrey before being loaned to Atlas and subsequently transferred to Necaxa in 2007. His big break came in January 2009 when he joined Wigan Athletic for a fee of four million five hundred thousand pounds.
