Hugo Weaving

Hugo Weaving, an esteemed English actor based in Australia, was born on April 4, 1960, in Colonial Nigeria to English parents. He has spent his entire career in Australia, where he has become a prominent figure in the film and television industry. Weaving's journey began with his first major role as English cricket captain Douglas Jardine in the Australian television series Bodyline in 1984.

His rise to fame was marked by standout performances in Australian cinema, particularly in the films Proof (1991) and The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994).
