Humam Tariq

Humam Tariq, born on February tenth, nineteen ninety-six, is an accomplished Iraqi professional footballer who currently plays as a winger for Al-Talaba SC and the Iraq national team. His journey in football began at a young age, and he quickly gained recognition for his exceptional talent on the field.

Throughout his career, Tariq has represented Iraq at various levels, including Under-19, Under-20, Under-22, Under-23, and the senior national team. He made history by debuting for the national team at the tender age of sixteen, becoming the youngest Iraqi to ever represent the senior squad.

Humam's international experience includes participation in the Rio Olympics in two thousand sixteen, where he played in all three matches against Denmark, Brazil, and South Africa. He also showcased his skills at the 2013 FIFA Under-20 World Cup, where he emerged as one of Iraq's standout players, helping the team reach the semi-finals.

At the senior level, Tariq played a pivotal role in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, contributing to Iraq's remarkable journey to the semi-finals, defying expectations and showcasing the strength of Iraqi football on the international stage.
