Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Hun Manet

Hun Manet, born on October twentieth, nineteen seventy-seven, is a prominent Cambodian politician and military officer. He has held the position of Prime Minister of Cambodia and Vice President of the ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP) since August twenty-two, twenty twenty-three. As the second child of Senate President and former Prime Minister Hun Sen and Bun Rany, Manet has a significant political legacy to uphold.

Raised in Phnom Penh, Manet completed his general education before joining the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) in nineteen ninety-five. That same year, he made history by becoming the first Cambodian to be admitted to the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he graduated in nineteen ninety-nine. His military career saw him rise through the ranks of the Royal Cambodian Army (RCA), ultimately serving as deputy commander-in-chief and commander.

Following the general election in twenty twenty-three, Hun Sen announced his resignation as Prime Minister on July twenty-six, designating Manet as his successor. After receiving a royal nomination from King Norodom Sihamoni, Manet and his cabinet were unanimously approved by the National Assembly, marking a significant transition in Cambodian leadership.

As Prime Minister, Manet has been at the forefront of major infrastructure initiatives, including the construction of the Funan Techo Canal and the completion of Siem Reap–Angkor International Airport and Techo International Airport. His administration has also navigated various challenges, such as U.S. tariffs on Cambodian goods and the ongoing Cambodia–Thailand border conflict.
