Hyejong of Goryeo

Hyejong of Goryeo, born Wang Mu in the year nine hundred twelve, ascended to the throne as the second king of the Goryeo dynasty. His reign marked a significant period in Korean history, following the foundational leadership of King Taejo and preceding that of King Jeongjong.

During his time as a military leader, Hyejong played a crucial role in consolidating the power of the Goryeo dynasty. His strategic prowess and leadership were instrumental in navigating the challenges faced by the kingdom in its formative years.
