As an original member of the iconic rock band Deep Purple, he has been a constant presence since the band's formation in nineteen sixty-eight, making him the only member to have participated in every lineup, album, and live performance throughout the band's storied history.

Regarded as one of the greatest rock drummers of all time, Paice's contributions to music were recognized when he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Deep Purple in two thousand sixteen. His drumming prowess has not only defined the sound of Deep Purple but has also influenced countless musicians across genres.

During the band's hiatus from nineteen seventy-six to nineteen eighty-four, Paice showcased his versatility by joining two other bands that featured fellow Deep Purple members.
