Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani

Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, born Abu al Fadl Ahmad ibn Ali ibn Muhammad al Kinani on 18 February 1372, was a towering figure in Islamic scholarship. His contributions to the fields of hadith, history, and jurisprudence have left an indelible mark on the Islamic intellectual tradition. Renowned for his meticulous scholarship, he authored approximately one hundred fifty works, with a particular focus on hadith, biography, exegesis, and poetry.
