Ida Krehm

Ida Krehm, born on February twenty-fourth, nineteen twelve, was a distinguished Canadian-American pianist whose musical journey began at the tender age of seven. Her early passion for the piano led her to the prestigious Hamburg Conservatory, where she honed her skills and developed her unique artistry.

Throughout her illustrious career, Krehm gained acclaim as both an orchestral soloist and a recitalist, captivating audiences across the Americas and Europe. Her performances with various symphony orchestras showcased her exceptional talent and deep understanding of the musical repertoire.

To honor her memory and contributions to the arts, the Ida Krehm Memorial Scholarship was established by her family at The Royal Conservatory of Music, ensuring that her passion for music lives on through the support of aspiring pianists.
