Ignacio Calderón

Ignacio Calderón, born on December thirteenth, nineteen forty-three, is a distinguished former Mexican football goalkeeper. His professional journey began in nineteen sixty-two with the renowned club Guadalajara, where he quickly made a name for himself by securing three Mexican league championships during the seasons of nineteen sixty-three to sixty-four, nineteen sixty-four to sixty-five, and nineteen sixty-nine to seventy.

Calderón's talent did not go unnoticed, as he earned his first call-up to the Mexico national team in nineteen sixty-five. Over the course of his international career, he proudly represented his country sixty times between nineteen sixty-five and nineteen seventy-four. Notably, he participated in two FIFA World Cups, where he achieved a remarkable feat in the nineteen seventy tournament by setting a record of three hundred and ten minutes without conceding a goal.

In nineteen seventy-four, Calderón transitioned to the U de G team, contributing to their success as runners-up in Liga MX during the nineteen seventy-five to seventy-six and nineteen seventy-six to seventy-seven seasons. His tenure with the team also included sharing the CONCACAF Champions' Cup in nineteen seventy-eight.
