Ignas Brazdeikis

Ignas Brazdeikis, born on January eighth, nineteen ninety-nine, is a talented Lithuanian-Canadian professional basketball player currently showcasing his skills for Žalgiris in the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and the EuroLeague. His journey in basketball began at the collegiate level, where he played for the Michigan Wolverines. During his freshman year, he made a significant impact, earning accolades such as the Big Ten Freshman of the Year and a spot on the Second Team All-Big Ten.

In the two thousand nineteen NBA Draft, Brazdeikis was selected as the forty-seventh overall pick by the Sacramento Kings. However, his career took a turn when he was traded to the New York Knicks, where he began his professional journey in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Over the years, he has also played for the Philadelphia 76ers and the Orlando Magic, in addition to competing in the NBA G League with the Westchester Knicks and Lakeland Magic.

Internationally, Brazdeikis has represented Canada in under-16 and under-17 competitions, showcasing his skills on a global stage.
