Ignatius Ayau Kaigama, born on July thirty-first, nineteen fifty-eight, is a distinguished Nigerian prelate of the Catholic Church. He has served as the archbishop of Abuja since November ninth, two thousand nineteen, marking a significant chapter in his ecclesiastical career.
Before his current role, Kaigama was the first bishop of Jalingo from nineteen ninety-five to two thousand, where he laid the groundwork for the diocese.
