Ignatiy Nesterov

Ignatiy Nesterov, born on June 20, 1983, in Samarkand, is a distinguished Uzbek football goalkeeper of Russian descent. Currently, he showcases his skills at Lokomotiv Tashkent, where he has become a pivotal figure in the team's success.

Throughout his illustrious career, Nesterov has primarily played in Uzbekistan, with a brief stint at the Saudi Arabian club Ohod. His dedication and talent have made him the most-decorated player in Uzbek football history, boasting an impressive tally of ten Uzbekistan Super League titles and ten Uzbek Cups.

On the international stage, Nesterov has represented the Uzbek national team in five Asian Cups, participating in the tournaments held in 2004, 2007, 2011, 2015, and 2019. His contributions to the national team have solidified his status as a key player in Uzbek football.
