Ignazio La Russa

Ignazio La Russa, born on July eighteenth, nineteen forty-seven, is a prominent Italian politician and lawyer currently serving as the President of the Senate of the Republic since October thirteenth, twenty twenty-two. His election marks a significant moment in Italian history, as he is the first individual with a neo-fascist background to hold this esteemed position, which is the second highest-ranking office in the Italian Republic.

La Russa's political journey includes a notable tenure as Minister of Defence in the Berlusconi IV Cabinet from two thousand eight to two thousand eleven.
