Igor Denisov, born on May 17, 1984, is a distinguished former professional footballer from Russia, renowned for his role as a midfielder. His football journey began at his hometown club, Zenit Saint Petersburg, where he made a significant impact from 2002 to 2013. Over the course of his eleven-year tenure, Denisov played in three hundred and fifty-four matches, netting twenty-nine goals and contributing to the club's impressive haul of three Russian Premier League titles and the prestigious UEFA Cup in 2008.

After his successful stint at Zenit, Denisov continued his career with Anzhi Makhachkala, Dynamo Moscow, and Lokomotiv Moscow.
