Igor Protti

Igor Protti, born on September twenty-four, nineteen sixty-seven, is a distinguished Italian former professional footballer who has transitioned into a role as the general manager for Livorno. His playing career is marked by his reputation as a prolific and opportunistic striker, primarily known for his prowess within the penalty area.

Protti began his football journey with his hometown club, Rimini, in nineteen eighty-three. Over the years, he showcased his talent at several Italian clubs, including Lazio and Napoli. However, it is his time at Livorno that solidified his status as a legendary figure in the club's history, particularly during his second spell, where he became an integral part of the team's identity.

Throughout his career, Protti achieved remarkable milestones, becoming one of the few players, alongside Dario Hübner, to have won top scoring titles in Serie A, Serie B, and Serie C1. Notably, he is also recognized as the only Serie A top-scorer to have experienced relegation with his club, Bari, at that time.
