Igor Sergeyev

Igor Sergeyev, born on April twentieth, nineteen thirty-eight, was a prominent figure in the military and political landscape of Russia. His career spanned several decades, during which he held significant positions that shaped the defense strategies of the nation.

From May twenty-second, nineteen ninety-seven, to March twenty-eighth, two thousand one, Sergeyev served as the Minister of Defense of Russia. This role placed him at the forefront of military policy during a transformative period in Russian history.

Prior to his tenure as Minister, he commanded the Strategic Rocket Forces from August twenty-sixth, nineteen ninety-two, until his appointment as Minister. His leadership in this critical area underscored his expertise in military operations and strategic defense.
