Imagine Dragons, an American pop rock band, emerged from Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2008. The group is comprised of lead vocalist Dan Reynolds, guitarist Wayne Sermon, and bassist Ben McKee. They made their mark on the music scene with their debut single, "It's Time," released in February 2012, which climbed into the Top 20 of various global charts.

Their first album, Night Visions, launched in September 2012, featured chart-topping hits like "Radioactive" and "Demons," reaching No 2 in the United States and achieving Platinum status by June 2013. Rolling Stone hailed "Radioactive" as the "biggest rock hit of the year," while MTV recognized the band as the year's biggest breakout act. Billboard honored them as the "Breakthrough Band of 2013" and the "Biggest Band of 2017," placing them at the top of their "Year in Rock" rankings for multiple years.

Following their debut, Imagine Dragons released their second studio album, Smoke + Mirrors, in 2015, which topped charts in the US, Canada, and the UK. Their third album, Evolve, released in 2017, produced three major hits: "Believer," "Thunder," and "Whatever It Takes," solidifying their status as a leading force in rock music. The band's fourth album, Origins, came out in 2018, featuring the single "Natural," which also topped the Hot Rock Songs chart.

In 2022, they released Mercury – Acts 1 & 2, a double album that included the US top 5 hit "Enemy," followed by Loom in 2024, marking a new chapter without longtime drummer Daniel Platzman. Despite their immense popularity and commercial success, the band's music has received mixed critical reviews.

Imagine Dragons have garnered numerous accolades, including three American Music Awards, nine Billboard Music Awards, one Grammy Award, and one MTV Video Music Award. With over seventy-four million albums and sixty-five million digital songs sold worldwide, they rank among the best-selling music artists globally, amassing one hundred sixty billion streams across various platforms.
