Iñaki Gómez

Iñaki Gómez, born on January sixteenth, nineteen eighty-eight, is a distinguished Canadian retired race walker known for his remarkable achievements in athletics. He made a significant mark in the sport by competing in the twenty kilometres walk event at the two thousand twelve Summer Olympics, where he secured a commendable thirteenth place finish. His prowess continued to shine at the IAAF World Championships in Athletics held in Moscow, where he achieved an impressive eighth place.

During his university years, Gómez was a standout athlete, clinching three NAIA titles in the five thousand metre race walk from two thousand eight to two thousand ten as a proud member of the UBC Thunderbirds.
