Inca Roca, born in the year one thousand three hundred thirty, ascended to the throne as the sixth Sapa Inca of the Kingdom of Cusco around the year one thousand three hundred fifty. He is recognized as the first ruler of the Hanan Qusqu dynasty, a significant period in the history of the Inca civilization.
His reign was marked by notable achievements, including the expansion of his territory and the consolidation of power. Inca Roca was married to Mama Michay, and together they had a son, Yawar Waqaq, who would carry on the legacy of his father.
In addition to Yawar Waqaq, Inca Roca fathered four other prominent sons: Inca Paucar, Huaman Taysi Inca, and Vicaquirau Inca. Vicaquirau Inca, along with Roca's nephew Apu Mayta, distinguished themselves as formidable warriors, playing crucial roles in the subjugation of the regions of Muyna, Pinahua, and Caytomarca.
Inca Roca's life came to an end around the year one thousand three hundred eighty, leaving behind a legacy that would influence the future of the Inca Empire.
