Indrani Rahman

Indrani Rahman, born on September nineteenth, nineteen thirty, was a distinguished Indian classical dancer renowned for her mastery in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathakali, and Odissi. She made history as the first beauty pageant titleholder in India, winning the Miss India pageant in nineteen fifty-two and subsequently representing her country in the inaugural Miss Universe pageant.

After her initial success in the beauty pageant arena, Indrani joined her mother, Ragini Devi, in her dance company.
