Indulis Emsis

Indulis Emsis, born on January second, nineteen fifty-two, is a notable Latvian politician and biologist. His political career is marked by a significant milestone when he served as the Prime Minister of Latvia for ten months in two thousand four, making history as the first Green politician to lead a country globally.

Following his tenure as Prime Minister, Emsis took on the role of Speaker of the Saeima, Latvia's parliament, from two thousand six to two thousand seven. His leadership in these positions reflects his commitment to public service and environmental issues.
