Inger Miller

Inger Miller, born on June twelfth, nineteen seventy-two, is a retired American track and field sprinter renowned for her exceptional performances in the 100 meters and 200 meters events. The daughter of Lennox Miller, an Olympic double 100 m medallist from Jamaica, Inger's athletic prowess was evident from a young age. She attended John Muir High School in Pasadena, California, before furthering her education at the University of Southern California.

During her illustrious career, Miller was a prominent member of HSI and achieved remarkable success on the world stage. She was crowned the World 200 m champion in nineteen ninety-nine and secured a silver medal in the 100 m at the same championships. Additionally, she was part of the gold medal-winning team in the 4 × 100 m relay at the 1996 Olympics and again at the 1997 World Championships, along with earning a silver medal in the 4 × 100 m relay at the 2003 World Outdoor Championships.

Despite her achievements, Miller faced challenges, including a public warning after testing positive for excessive caffeine following her bronze medal win in the 60 meters at the nineteen ninety-nine IAAF World Indoor Championships, which led to the nullification of her results.

Beyond athletics, Inger Miller co-founded Miller-Hawkins Productions with Jill Hawkins, a full-service event coordinating company based in Altadena. As of two thousand nineteen, she transitioned to a new career as a flight attendant, showcasing her versatility and adaptability.
