Irina Rodnina

Irina Rodnina, born on September twelfth, nineteen forty-nine, is a distinguished Russian politician and a celebrated retired figure skater. Renowned for her exceptional talent on the ice, she holds the remarkable record of being the only pair skater to clinch ten consecutive World Championships from nineteen sixty-nine to nineteen seventy-eight. Her illustrious career is further highlighted by her achievement of three successive Olympic gold medals in nineteen seventy-two, nineteen seventy-six, and nineteen eighty.

Rodnina's figure skating journey began with her first partner, Alexei Ulanov, before she later teamed up with Alexander Zaitsev.
