Isaac Herzog

Isaac Herzog, born on September twenty-second, nineteen sixty, is a prominent Israeli politician and lawyer who has made significant contributions to the nation's political landscape. Since July seventh, twenty twenty-one, he has served as the president of Israel, marking a historic milestone as the first president born in Israel after its Declaration of Independence.

Herzog is the son of Chaim Herzog, a former president of Israel, and has built a distinguished career in public service. He held the position of Government Secretary from nineteen ninety-nine to two thousand one and was a member of the Knesset from two thousand three to two thousand eighteen. His ministerial roles between two thousand five and two thousand eleven included serving as Minister of Welfare and Social Services under prime ministers Ehud Olmert and Benjamin Netanyahu.

In addition to his governmental roles, Herzog was the Chairman of the Labor Party and the Zionist Union alliance from two thousand thirteen to two thousand seventeen.
