Isabel Díaz Ayuso

Isabel Díaz Ayuso, born on October seventeenth, nineteen seventy-eight, is a prominent Spanish politician and communications adviser. She has been serving as the president of the Community of Madrid since two thousand nineteen, marking a significant milestone in her political career.

As a member of the People's Party, Ayuso has held various influential positions, including vice-secretary of communication and spokeswoman for the party's Madrilenian branch. In the lead-up to the two thousand nineteen Madrilenian autonomous election, she was the regional candidate for president. Although her party faced a historic defeat in the elections, it was not long before she was elected president by the Assembly of Madrid.

Her administration is notable for several groundbreaking achievements. It was the first time the region was governed by a coalition, formed between her conservative People's Party and Citizens. Additionally, it marked the first instance of Vox supporting an autonomous executive in Madrid. Under her leadership, the regional branch of the People's Party experienced both its worst electoral result in two thousand nineteen and its best performance ever in two thousand twenty-one.
