Isabel Perón

Isabel Perón, born on February fourth, nineteen thirty-one, is a notable Argentine politician and dancer who made history as the first woman to serve as president of a country. Her political career was marked by her tenure as president of Argentina from nineteen seventy-four to nineteen seventy-six, following the death of her husband, President Juan Perón.

Before ascending to the presidency, Isabel Perón held the positions of vice president and first lady during her husband's third term from nineteen seventy-three to nineteen seventy-four.
