Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Isabelle Mercier

Isabelle Mercier, born on August 5, 1975, is a renowned professional poker player who has made significant strides in the world of competitive poker. Her journey began in childhood, but before fully committing to poker, she earned an undergraduate law degree from the Université de Montréal and practiced commercial law for six months. Mercier then relocated to Paris, where she obtained a master's degree while managing the poker room at the Aviation Club de France. Her dedication and talent earned her nominations for Staff Person of the Year at the European Poker Awards.

Mercier first gained recognition in 2002 by finishing second in the €800 No Limit hold 'em tournament at the Masters Classic of Poker in Amsterdam, securing a prize of fifty-three thousand four hundred ninety-nine dollars. In 2004, she triumphed at the World Poker Tour Ladies' Night tournament, taking home the twenty-five thousand dollar first prize, which led to her being nicknamed "No Mercy" by Mike Sexton.

Her impressive career continued with a tenth-place finish at the European Poker Tour Grand Final in Monte Carlo in 2005, where she earned twenty-three thousand ninety euros. That same year, she also achieved three money finishes at the World Series of Poker. In February 2006, she made her first EPT final table in Deauville, finishing seventh among a competitive field.

In addition to her tournament successes, Mercier has contributed to the poker community through her instructional DVD and her biography, "Profession : bluffeuse," released in January 2008. She also won the PokerStars' Ante Up for Africa charity tournament in Monte Carlo in 2009, competing against notable players and celebrities. By the end of 2009, she transitioned from being a member of Team PokerStars to joining BetClic as a consultant for their online poker site.

Mercier's accolades continued as she won the inaugural World Championship of Open Face Chinese Poker in Prague in 2015. Since 2017, she has served as an ambassador for the cryptocurrency poker site CoinPoker, where she actively participates in tournaments and hosts a weekly bounty tournament. As of 2015, her total live tournament winnings have surpassed one million two hundred thousand dollars.
