Isaiah Hartenstein

Isaiah Hartenstein, born on May 5, 1998, is a professional basketball player who proudly represents both the United States and Germany. Standing at an impressive seven feet tall, he plays the center position for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Before making his mark in the NBA, Hartenstein honed his skills in Germany and later in Lithuania with Zalgiris Kaunas. His time in Lithuania was particularly fruitful, culminating in a Lithuanian League championship in 2017.

Hartenstein's journey to the NBA began when he was selected by the Houston Rockets as the forty-third overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft. Although he faced challenges in making his debut, he eventually took the court with the Rockets in the following season.

In 2024, Hartenstein signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he quickly made an impact, helping the team secure the NBA Finals title in 2025 during his inaugural season. Throughout his career, he has also played for notable teams such as the Denver Nuggets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers, and New York Knicks, in addition to representing the Germany men's national basketball team.
