Her family relocated to Australia during her childhood, where she began her career in the entertainment industry by appearing in television commercials. Fisher gained significant recognition for her role as Shannon Reed on the popular Australian soap opera Home and Away, which she starred in from 1994 to 1997, earning two Logie Award nominations for her performance.
